You hear it over and over again from single adults in Atlanta: "I'm done with dating apps!" The fatigue comes from years of downloading an app like Bumble, Tinder or Hinge, only to be met with matches you aren't your type, connections that end with ghosting, or annoyance with investing hours into swiping left or right. And yes, there are several success stories that come from dating apps - I think that's why so many singles still give it a chance! - but adults these days are craving non-digital alternatives, a chance to "meet someone in the wild" again. Just like in the pre-internet days.
Mesa Gatherings was founded in 2024 in effort to provide in-person opportunities for singles to connect through group dinners, speed dating, and other fun events in the metro Atlanta area. But we also want to make you aware of the additional budding opportunities for in-person dating throughout Georgia.
